Why can't we start with the easiest phase (Phase 3) first and ease into these dietary changes?
The order of the phases was designed to be the most beneficial in helping your body reduce insulin sensitivity and balance the omega 3/omega 6 fatty acid ratio. These roles are vital in balancing levels of inflammation and enhancing the health of our immune system which will reduce the chances of infection. In order to get the greatest benefit from this 40-day experience, a "clean break" from a previous lifestyle and diet is required. If we think that by easing into the program we will be more successful, we are only kidding ourselves. One's best chance for success is to break free from food addictions and cut out and add specific foods as planned out in each phase. In fact, many people say that their favorite phase is the first one, because it is the most extreme change with the most extreme results including loss of body fat, decreased pains, and increased energy.

P.S. - Cravings are a very normal part of your body detoxing! Drink lots of water and push through! You can will the cravings battle!
