DAY 1 - LET'S GET STARTED!

Welcome to the Healthy In 2007 Blogspot! You have made a decision to take back your health and return your body to it's ideal weight - and today is the first day of that journey! Here's what you need to do to get started:

1) Make sure you have the groceries you need to support your decision - Refer to The Maker's Diet section on "Foods to Enjoy" and "Foods to Avoid" in Phase 1. Also, clean up your environment. Removing foods that can sabatoge your commitment removes much of the temptation to indulge.

2) You should have access to post to this blogspot. Come here every day to record what you have eaten - and see what everyone else has eaten! Here is an example of how your posting should look:

Name -
Breakfast -
Lunch -
Dinner -
Snack -
Exercise -
Notes/Comments -

3) Pick up a copy of The Maker's Diet and/or The Great Physician's RX, if you haven't already. Refer to the "40 Day Health Experience" section of the book to give you the day to day information you need for success. Also begin reading the book through so you understand the importance of consuming only the foods God intended. When you understand the "why" of health and proper weight, the "what" is not that hard.

4) Visit The Maker's Diet website. It has lots of information and tools to help you.

5) Solidify your commitment to yourself and to those in this with you to be honest and accountable as we work together to return our bodies to health!
